GENEVA – The Geneva Park District has a variety of family-friendly, fun activities to keep you busy throughout the late winter.
Parents' Night Out will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 7 and 21 at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road. Children will enjoy games, crafts, movies and more while parents enjoy some free time. Pre-registration is required for this event.
The Just Dad N Me Dance is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at Geneva High School, 416 McKinley Ave. Dads and their daughters will enjoy an evening of dancing, entertainment and refreshments. Doors open at 5 p.m. for check-in and pictures. All couples receive a keepsake photograph from this memorable night. This event is open to step-dads, uncles and grandpas.
Mom & Son Night is from 6 to 8 p.m. March 7, also at Geneva High School. Mothers can have fun playing games, making Legos and more with their sons while munching on snacks. The event is open to grandmothers, aunts, sisters and step-moms.
Parent/Tot Open Play is held from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sundays at Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road. Parents can play with their children at the facility's indoor playground, "The Farm." Supervision is required.
