The City of Davison recently received a $3,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Flint for the purchase of Expression Swings at the playscape in Jack Abernathy Regional Park. Expression Swing are designed to promote intergenerational play in which an adult and child interact face-to-face and eye-to-eye. The Davison Community Fund contributed $1,000 toward the purchase, while the CFGF’s Youth Advisory Committee put forth an additional $2,000.
